Christophe Gilland is a self-taught
illustrator who was essentially raised at Disney World where his father worked
as a special effects animator. He was then transplanted to the city of
Vancouver, Canada, where he continued to be immersed in animation and art. At
17 he moved to Prague and claims that this move had a "profound effect on
my creative path, as the beautiful city continues to be an endless source of
artistic inspiration." Gilland specializes in drawing with extremely
fine-tipped pens, which afford him the incredible detail visible in these
